All pupils applying for a place at our school are expected to attend our Assessment Day. Pupils take an English, Mathematics and general reasoning paper. To attend, you first need to Register. Those applying for scholarships take the same papers, but are expected to get higher results. They are also expected to attend our special Scholarship Day in March to demonstrate their specialism and to be interviewed by the Headmaster. Assessment Day consists of assessments, for which no revision is required, and which do not have a definite pass or fail mark but give us an understanding of the academic ability of the pupil. However, the day is not all work! Those attending also have fun and a chance to get to know the school, meet pupils and staff, and enjoy the wonderful setting and facilities.
