Our focus is to ensure that all our pupils enjoy dedicated tutorial and pastoral support, fine facilities, and the opportunity to integrate effectively.

As we begin to move towards a ratio of 50:50 - boarders to day pupils, the introduction of boys’ and girls’ day houses has been warmly welcomed. They complement our excellent boarding provision and are proving a benefit to the whole community.

Boarders are enjoying a more focused commitment to their needs and day pupils have noticed significantly improved provision. This will include: a designated housemaster/mistress and tutors, specific storage space and changing facilities and enhanced registration, pastoral care and academic support.

Fraternity and competition between the houses has not be diminished and everything has be done to ensure that whether day or boarding, pupils are increasingly well served and feel happily integrated.
