Having spent many months identifing our primary development needs and many more liaising with architects, planners and the governing body, we are please to have on display a scale model of what might one day stand splendidly among our collection of quintessential nineteenth century buildings.

The new facility will accommodate a centre-piece library, mathematics classrooms and science laboratries, sports & uniform store, offices and much more. It will even feature an observatory on the roof, enabling pupils to study the night sky. The contemporary construction will be striking while echoing architectural features characteristic of the school's traditional and historic buildings.

Headmaster, Nick Seward, comments; "I am delighted with the progress being made towards the development of the new academic building. With the school roll increasing year on year the new facility is much needed. Interest in places is at record levels and the new building will be a real boon."
