We offer girls the opportunity to take part in a structured games programme on three afternoons during the week. In addition, there is a full programme of fixtures organised for every Wednesday, and occasionally Tuesday, afternoons. All girls are strongly encouraged to participate in team sports. However, there is also a more recreational programme of sport for girls that includes fitness, pilates and swimming.

In the Michaelmas term the main sport is hockey and the majority of girls represent the school at 1st, 2^nd or U14 level. Girls' hockey is going from strength to strength at the school. The most recent provision is for those more gifted and talented to attend structured hockey training at Oxford Hawks Hockey Club on a Tuesday evening. Enthusiasm for hockey is steadily growing.

During the Lent term girls participate in a full programme of netball coaching and play competitive fixtures at 1^st, 2^nd, U16, U15 and U13 level. All girls in Years 7 – 11 attend netball coaching on two afternoons per week. On a third afternoon girls have the option to participate in more recreational activities such as pilates, swimming, fitness or horse-riding. We have recently introduced girls' football.

The focus in the Trinity term for the girls is dependent on their year group. Girls in Years 7 and 8 participate in structured rounders' coaching on three afternoons per week and will play competitive fixtures against other schools on Wednesday afternoons. Senior girls in Years 9 to Sixth Form have the opportunity to select an activity from tennis, athletics or swimming with full coaching being provided in all three of these disciplines. Again, a more recreational programme is provided on one afternoon per week.

2009 saw the introduction of aerobics and girls' cross-country running.
