We are focused on developing our reputation for sport both locally and nationally. We are committed to providing excellent opportunities for pupils to succeed at all levels of competition. Within the school we want all pupils to enjoy a broad sporting programme that encourages teamwork, self-discipline and a healthy sense of competition. However, we also want to create opportunities for the gifted performer to excel and for them to represent local clubs, the county and their country.

To this end Kingham Hill focuses on excellent teaching in core physical education classes, and combines this with a broad and competitive games curriculum that sees knowledgeable staff coaching pupils three times per week, generating interest in sport through their enthusiasm, commitment to improvement and their desire to see each pupil developing their skills and performance.

The facilities for sport at Kingham are excellent. A knowledgeable and enthusiastic physical education department works alongside a coaching team to ensure that pupils enjoy their sport, fulfil their potential, and compete at an appropriate level.
