As an independent school, we pride ourselves in having the ability to offer an academic curriculum which is personalised to each pupil, and best serves their needs. We are also able to offer smaller class sizes (with an average of 15 pupils per class) which delivers supportive learning tailored to challenge each child to help them reach their potential.
This is demonstrated in the recently published Department for Education results which put Kingham Hill in the top 3 schools in Oxfordshire and the top 5% nationally for progression from GCSE to A level. The Telegraph has also listed Kingham Hill as 'A Top Small Independent School' for highest A level results which is testament to the high quality of teaching delivered within the school. We have also been selected as a Good Schools Guide school which recognises both the academic strength and pastoral excellence provided to our school community.
In common with many top independent schools, national performance tables can be misleading when assessing pupils' achievement, as they take no account of iGCSEs and other qualifications which are nonetheless highly respected by universities and employers.
