It was a time of celebration in the summer of 2025, as we shared in the success of our Upper Sixth and 5th Form pupils when they received their GCSE, A Level and BTEC/CTEC results.

-
There was a 100% pass rate in our vocational BTEC and CTech courses, with over half of all results at Distinction*/Distinction Level.
-
At GCSE 31% of results were at the highest Grades 9-7 with 55% at Grades 9-6.
Head, Mr Pete Last said,
This year’s Upper Sixth cohort have done themselves proud with more than 80% of pupils gaining places at their first choice destinations including the University of Bath, University of Bristol, Durham University, University of Edinburgh, University of Exeter, University of Leeds, Loughborough University, University of Manchester, University of Oxford, and Royal Holloway University of London.
We were delighted that 2 of our pupils secured places to study at Oxbridge - Joe will be heading to Oxford to read Biochemistry, and Nathan (a leaver from last year) will be going to Cambridge to study Engineering.
Our pupils will be studying a diverse range of courses including: Medicine, French & Spanish, Pharmacy, Marketing, Computer Engineering, English Literature, Philosophy & Psychology, Forensic Science, Sports Photography, Archaeology & Ancient History, Business Management, Music, Agriculture, Biochemistry, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Acting, Physiotherapy, Maths and History.
Mr Last continued,
‘I am thrilled that so many of our pupils have secured places at their first-choice destinations. At Kingham Hill, our mission is to equip every pupil with the skills they need to thrive in life. The achievements we celebrate this year give our pupils the confidence to step boldly into their futures. As the school itself embarks on its own exciting new chapter, having recently joined the Dean Close Foundation, we are committed to sustaining this tradition of success for generations of pupils to come.
We are now looking ahead to the new school year and we can’t wait to welcome many of our 5th Formers back to the Hill in September as they embark upon their Sixth Form journey with us.’
