How to Apply
There are 3 stages in the application process.
We accept applications from boys and girls entering from Year 7 as either day pupils or boarders. Our main entry points are Year 7,9 and Sixth Form, however we know life does not always follow these timelines. As such, we are happy to offer admission into all year groups where availability allows.
We encourage you to register as soon as early as possible so we are able to keep in touch with you regarding relevant events and key deadlines.
The first stage of our admissions process is the registration of your child. To do this, please complete the registration form online by following the links below. There is a £105 non-refundable registration fee to complete the process (N.B. £155 for overseas applicants). This can be made by cheque or bank transfer. If you would prefer to use a PDF form, links to these are also available below.
Assessment and interview
After registration, children will be invited to attend an assessment and informal interview with the Headmaster. The assessment covers English, Maths and General Reasoning skills. No revision is required.
Pupils from overseas who are not able to visit the school can be assessed remotely once the application process has been completed.
Once pupils have registered, completed the assessment and been interviewed by the Headmaster, we will advise you by letter whether the school is able to offer a place for your child.
