Scholarships, Exhibitions and Bursaries

Scholarships and Exhibitions

Each year the School offers Academic scholarships for pupils joining KHS in the First, Third and Lower Sixth Forms. In addition, the School offers Organ and Founder’s Scholarships and Founder’s Awards for those joining the School in the Lower Sixth.

Exhibitions are offered to pupils primarily in Music (for First and Third Form entry) and Sport (for Third and Sixth Form entry), although an exhibition may be offered in any field subject to the specified criteria.

Candidates for awards commencing in the First and Third Forms should submit their application by Michaelmas Half-Term of the preceding year. Interviews take place following Half-Term, and adjudication of awards before Second Exeat. Entry is open to all prospective First and Third Form pupils, along with the current Second Form.

Bursaries

The Kingham Hill Trust offers a limited number of bursaries each year to pupils who would benefit from a Kingham Hill education but who are unable to afford the full fees. The number of children that we are able to help is limited to funds provided by the Kingham Hill Trust.

Bursaries are only available for pupils normally resident in the UK, for a maximum of 50% of fees and are means tested. In cases of particular need, the school can suggest a number of grant making trusts that may offer additional bursaries.

For more information on bursary funding, please contact our Bursar.
