Scholarships & Bursaries
Each year the School offers Academic, Art, Performing Arts and Sports scholarships, for pupils joining the School in the First, Third and Lower Sixth Forms. In addition, the School offers Organ and Founder’s Scholarships and Founder’s Awards for those joining the School in the Lower Sixth.
Junior Scholarship Day takes place during the first half of Michaelmas Term and is open to prospective pupils joining the School into the First and Thirds Forms, as well as current pupils in the Second Form. All awards start in Michaelmas term of the succeeding year. Pupils may apply for up to two scholarships, although funding would only be awarded in one scholarship category.
Sixth Form Scholarship Day takes place during the first half of Lent Term and is open to external applicants and pupils currently in Fifth Form at the school. Pupils may apply for up to two scholarships, although funding would only be awarded in one scholarship category.
All applicants for scholarships are required to be formally registered and have undertaken admission assessments.
For further information and application details for all awards, please contact our Master of Scholars.
The Kingham Hill Trust offers a limited number of bursaries each year to pupils who would benefit from a Kingham Hill education but who are unable to afford the full fees. The number of children that we are able to help is limited to funds provided by the Kingham Hill Trust.
Bursaries are only available for pupils normally resident in the UK, for a maximum of 50% of fees and are means tested. In cases of particular need, the school can suggest a number of grant making trusts that may offer additional bursaries.
