In Memoriam: Flora Essame

Flora Essame was a much loved member of the Kingham Hill family, remembered by many Hillians as the school's nursing sister in charge of the Sanatorium.

After her marriage to John Essame, the two were appointed House Master and Mistress for Norwich House and served from 1974-82. Flora and Gus later retired to live locally in Lower Oddington.

"Everyone has a fond memory of a kind and wonderful lady. I remember her looking after me in the San on at least one occasion, RIP Flora." shared one Hillian.
