Yesterday marked a historic moment at Kingham Hill School as we bid farewell to a longstanding fixture in our dining hall - the photo frame of the Late Queen Elizabeth II. With great care, we took down the frame and prepared to replace it with a new one, featuring the newly appointed King Charles.
As we delicately removed the canvas from the old frame, we were surprised and delighted to discover some remarkable findings hidden within. To our amazement, we uncovered a beautifully written inscription which read, "This Elizabethan Age of Adventure." We couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder as we reflected on the significance of these words, and the incredible reign of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

But that wasn't all - as we continued to examine the frame, we stumbled upon a colourful photograph of a younger Queen Elizabeth II. It was a vivid reminder of her youthful energy and determination, and a fitting tribute to the many achievements of her long and illustrious reign.

And then, as if by magic, we unearthed something even more extraordinary - a black and white image hidden deep within the frame of King William IV. As we gazed at the photo, we couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence for the past, and a renewed sense of hope for the future.
