Top Physics Scientist in Australia, a Hillian

Congratulations to Professor Joss Bland-Hawthorn (a Hillian from 1970-1977).   Joss has been recognised for his outstanding awards and contributions to the field of physics and has been named the Top Physics Scientist in Australia.

This ranking is from the Top 1000 in the world every year, with 168,000 in the database 

Joss opened the new Veritas Science building for us in 2014. He is remembered from his school days in Greenwich House, the rugby pitch and the choir. We're hoping to welcome him back to the Hill in September, 2022.
