A week ago the government announced that schools were to close due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This was two weeks before our Easter break and pupils were not ready to leave, especially our Sixth Form.
Over the weekend KHS kicked into action and launched VKHS, Virtual KHS. For a school that has a fairly tight 'no devices' policy, it has been a delight to see the community come together and for learning to continue in this virtual world. Pupils follow their normal timetable and interact with their classmates and teachers through their computers. Video content is sent to them for chapel and other sessions to keep them engaged.
