Chill on the Hill
2024
Hillians of all ages (from 18-92) came back to visit the school, and each other. A former Greenwich pupil from the 1980s summed it up well with ‘There is no place that feels more like home to me’.
Another who was at school in the 1960s said 'It wasn't just a lovely day, it was seeing the reaction from those who returned for the first time in many years and how much the school still meant to everyone, and each other'.
This year's event including camping onsite which was a welcome addition to extend the fun. A former Bradford pupil said 'To be given this opportunity each year to meet up and reminisce means so much. Camping for the first time in 50 years was well worth it to spend more time in such a beautiful setting. Kingham Hill continues to be a positive force in my life.'
Next year's date is 24 May, 2025. We look forward to welcoming you back.
2023
The weekend kicked off on Thursday evening when Rev'd Bob Shepton (1980-1992) gave a lecture on his experience of sailing around the world with Kingham Hill pupils. A video of his talk can be viewed here.
There were over 500 Hillians who attended the main event on Saturday. On that day, we celebrated the opening of the Trim Trail (dedicated in memory of Les Peake) and also the Obstacle Course; both projects were supported by generous donations from Hillians and friends.
