All ready to Chill

As half term draws to a close, the panelling to the rear aspect of the Sports Centre continue a pace, along with the stone work.

I have been away from the site since Tuesday morning, so look forward to returning on Monday to see the progress in person. The team have been working hard not just keeping the project on track but in preparing the site for Chill on the Hill tomorrow.  We hope that the 450 attendees enjoy seeing the progress made, not only with the Sports centre, but around the rest of the site too.

From on top the roof, the cricket pitch is looking great.  Whilst progress on the roof has been held up by a minor issue with the fixing of the panels, this has now been resolved and hopefully progress will resume shortly.

The downstairs internal walls are now 95% complete and the upstairs walls are following along nicely at 50% complete.  The plant room is ready for painting, so that the plant can be installed next week. The majority of the upstairs ducting and ventilation has been installed and works are now underway downstairs.

Thanks go to Lidia, our Head of Estate Management, for this week's photos.
