Senior boys aged 14 to 18 years.
A warm welcome to Norwich House. My name is Simon McFaul and, with my wife Katy, we are the house parents for Norwich House. We live in the adjoining house along with our three children, William, Lydia and Sadie, who are keen to get to know their new 'big brothers'!
We are pleased to have Tamsin Maclean as Deputy Houseparent who is on hand to support and encourage the boys. Sam Selley continues in his role as PA this year, which is great news since he already knows the boys well.
We have recently moved from Berkshire where I taught physics and was involved in CCF as well as coaching games, which I’m looking forward to continuing here at Kingham Hill. I am a keen sportsman and particularly enjoy playing hockey and running. I am an avid rugby supporter. As a family we enjoy being outdoors, playing games, camping, family movies and having fun together.
We want the boys in Norwich to feel at home, valued and an extended part of our own family. Our aim is for the boys to establish genuine friendships with one another and therefore throughout the year we will plan different activities, both in-house and trips out to foster these relationships.
Our hope is that Norwich boys will grow into responsible young men who will be kind, supportive of one another, honest and learn to celebrate each other’s successes, academic and otherwise, as much as their own. As part of our role we hope to enable them to make wise choices both now and in the future. We are delighted to be a part of this wonderful school community and immensely proud to head up Norwich House.
