Top School Stained Glass Project

Top School has always been known as the centre of School life. Throughout the years it has been used for drama performances, exams, Speech Day and celebration dinners.

There are two sets of windows at either end of the Hall. Both were sadly boarded up decades ago, due to their poor condition.

A fundraising and restoration project began in 2019 to repair the stone work, uncover the windows and replace the glass with stained glass installations at both ends of the Hall. Our Art Department worked with Peter Berry, a Kingham Hill Alumnus from the 1970's who is a well known stained glass artist. Peter kindly gave of his time and skill to create a beautiful first window which reflects the ethos and surroundings of our School.

Phase Two of the project is now underway to build and install a second window at the opposite end of the Hall. Please consider supporting this by donating here online.
