This month, Kingham Hill’s 5th Form Cadets undertook the Junior Leadership Cadre, a demanding course designed to develop leadership skills and prepare cadets for progression into senior ranks.
The weekend began with public speaking exercises, where cadets spoke confidently on a wide range of topics, from scuba diving and baking to mountain biking and creative art. Saturday morning challenged cadets further with command tasks, casualty evacuation drills, and paintballing scenarios, before they enjoyed a well-earned movie night.
On Sunday, the focus shifted to lesson planning and delivery, culminating in each cadet presenting an engaging lesson from the Cadet syllabus to their peers.
