On Thursday 30th January, our Sixth Form BTEC Performing Arts pupils presented their adaptation of An Inspector Calls by J. B. Priestley, to a packed out Performing Arts Centre of friends and family.
Set in 1912, the cast and crew aptly played out the timeless classic that takes place during a single evening in the home of the wealthy Birling family. With its powerful critique of class, social responsibility, and morality, the audience was left with much to consider.
Headmaster, Mr Last commented "Shows like this do not simply "happen". They require huge amounts of effort, dedication, commitment and determination in order to learn the lines, remember the cues and stage directions and leave the audience really thinking about the underlying message of the play. This ensemble did a great job!"
