Barnaby Lenon holds talk at Kingham Hill

On Saturday, Kingham Hill School was honoured to welcome highly respected education expert, Barnaby Lenon for a presentation on what to look for in a good school.

Speaking to a captive audience of parents, staff and pupils, Barnaby spoke of his experience in the education sector as the current Head of the Independent Schools Council and former Headmaster of Harrow School.

Barnaby, author of Much Promise: successful schools in England, discussed a number of topics including education league tables, standards of teaching, university education and parenting.

The subject of what schools can do to help prepare children for their next steps after secondary education and what skills are vital to flourish outside of the classroom proved popular, and led to an interesting and engaging question and answer session at the end of the talk.
