CCF Passing Out Parade Celebrates Cadet Achievements

On the afternoon of Friday 23rd May, Kingham Hill’s Combined Cadet Force (CCF) held its annual Passing Out Parade, marking a proud milestone as our 3rd Form Cadets completed the first stage of their training with the Army and RAF sections.

The school was honoured to welcome Kingham Hill Governor and Army Nurse, Debra Ritsperis, to inspect the Contingent and present a series of awards to Cadets who demonstrated outstanding performances during their training and recent Recruit’s Camp.

During the ceremony, the following awards were presented in recognition of exceptional contributions:

  • Best Recruit – Lois
  • Best Squad – A Squad (Gabriel, Harry, Jack, Jonah, Kyron, Lois)
  • Best Aviator – Maddie
  • Best Driller – Lucy
  • Best Infanteer – Ruby

It was a moment of pride for all involved and a fitting recognition of the hard work put in by both the Cadets and the staff who have supported them. We look forward to seeing them continue to develop as confident, capable leaders through their involvement in the CCF.

This month has been a busy one for our contingents with 4th Form and Lower Sixth Cadets spending the day at Otmoor Range at the beginning of May, sharpening their marksmanship skills through a series of drills and challenges. More recently, a group of adventurous Cadets also ventured to Capel Curig in North Wales for several days of adrenaline fuelled mountain biking!
