Our CCF pupils and staff enjoyed a trip to RAF Brize Norton.
59 cadets and 7 staff from the Kingham HIll School CCF joined members of 10 and 101 Squadrons, from Brize Norton, on an air-to-air refuelling flight over the North Sea. The air experience flight allowed the cadets to see the Voyager aircraft in operation and a number of F35 Lightning and FGR4 Typhoon refuel. It was an early start but a rare opportunity for the cadets to get airborne and see RAF aircraft close up. A big thank you to all the personnel at RAF Brize Norton involved in making this special event possible.
