We are lucky as a school community to have both pupils and staff from all over the world amongst us, so we wanted to celebrate that and learn a little bit more about our different heritages.
Just after half term, we held Culture Day, when pupils and staff were invited to come to school dressed in clothing that represented their home nation or family heritage. It was lovely to see a variety of outfits on show, including some traditional dress representing Bavaria and Zimbabwe. During the day, pupils were invited to mark their family connections by placing a sticker on a world map.
It is wonderful to see that our community is truly international!
