Charity Quiz Night

Our Sixth Form Charity Committee put on an excellent evening's entertainment in the form of a quiz night, in support of local charity, The Branch.

Based locally in Chipping Norton, The Branch is a charitable organisation which, over the last eight years, has reached and engaged with a large number of children, young people and adults, helping them overcome the many barriers they faced to turn their lives around. The Charity’s Director, Emma Kennedy, is a regular visitor to Kingham Hill and we are active supporters of the charity - a cause that is very close to our hearts.

We were delighted that Emma was able to come along to the quiz, joining over 80 parents, staff, pupils and Hillians for a fun night of quizzing hosted by Mr Jones. As well as the quiz there was also a raffle offering some generously donated prizes. At the end of the night the Committee had managed to raise almost £1000 - a fantastic amount!

We are very proud of the Sixth Formers involved who did an excellent job of organising the event, showcasing a range of skills and embodying core school values from our ‘Equipped to Flourish’ programme - humility, integrity, resilience and responsibility.
