Former professional cricketer, Jason Ratcliffe, inspires pupils during talk

Kingham Hill School Sixth Form were very proud to welcome former professional cricketer, Jason Ratcliffe for its Sixth Form Dinner last week.

Each term, Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Berkeley organises a Dinner for Sixth Formers where inspirational speakers are invited to talk with the pupils about a variety of topics, including careers, sports, and volunteering.

Not only did Jason speak about his time playing cricket, he also discussed his important work with the Professional Cricketers' Association setting up its mental health and wellbeing support network.

Reflecting on the evening, Mrs Berkeley said, "Jason inspired the Sixth Formers with his words of wisdom, encouraging pupils to make the most of every opportunity, to have integrity and to work hard. An incredible role model, we felt very privileged to have Jason with us."
