Kingham Hill alumnus Professor Joss Bland-Hawthorn, who attended the school from 1970 – 1977, has begun a three month long Visiting Miller Professorship at the prestigious University of California Berkeley.
Joss, a highly regarded Physics and Astronomy Professor, will be living at the university and working with leading theoretical astrophysicist C F McKee researching astronomical instrumentation.
The widely contested Professorship is usually awarded to those working in America and Europe, and Joss is only the sixth Australian to receive it.
