Karting team get competitive season off to a winning start

Following the introduction of the STEM programme last year, Kingham Hill has seen big results from the school's karting team.

Last year the senior team impressed by making it through to the national final of the British Schools Karting Championship. A feat the junior team appear keen to match after their strong showing at the opening of the National Schools Karting Association (NatSKA) competition.

Drivers from Year 7 and 8, began the season at Whilton Mill Go Karting and Outdoor activities centre, competing against a number of schools. Pupils put in some strong efforts and fast lap times, with Deven, Dougal and Samantha all finishing on the podium in their categories.
