Mr Seward completes Beard-Exit after fundraising target exceeded

Friday 29th March marked an important date in the calendar, Beard-Exit. After successfully raising over £1,000 the school gathered to watch Mr Seward shave his beard for Centrepoint.

Pupils, staff and families at Kingham Hill have been working hard over the last two weeks to raise £1,000 to guarantee a full beard-exit, which saw Headmaster, Mr Seward have his beard shaved after growing it over the past few years.

With £1,460 raised on the School's GoFundMe page everyone exceeded the target and Oliveri Barber's from Chipping Norton arrived to shave the beard in front of a packed Chapel during Friday break time.

Congratulations to everyone for their hard work raising money for a very worthy charity, Centrepoint, which works to support young homeless people in the UK. All money raised by Kingham Hill School will go towards bursaries, ensuring young people have the chance to access education despite their housing situation.
