Our Music Department hosted the first 'Performer's Platform' of the term after school on Friday. The purpose of the event is to provide our talented musicians with an opportunity to perform in front of an audience.
The experience of performing live can not only help musicians to build their confidence and develop their stage presence, but it also enables them to learn how to engage effectively with audiences, making their performances more memorable.
During the evening we heard from three pianists, a singer and a clarinettist. Each of them introduced their own piece, and it was lovely to hear a range of musical genres from classical to pop.
