There was plenty of excitement and a few airborne pancakes at this year’s Head’s Pancake Race, held on Tuesday 24th February.
In the afternoon, teams from each House lined up to compete for the coveted Golden Frying Pan, alongside a fearless staff team.
Required to carefully flip their pancakes at designated flipping zones, participants took part in a relay style race, leading to some impressive skill on display and some unpredictable pancake trajectories.
After a closely contested race, Plymouth House emerged victorious, claiming the Golden Frying Pan.
As ever, the race proved that it is not about how you fall, but how you get back up (and whether you manage to keep hold of your pancake along the way).
