Pupils and staff celebrate Founder's Day

Tuesday 19th March marked the birthday of our School's founder, Charles Edward Baring Young. To celebrate, every year the school walks through the Daylesford Estate to the Daylesford Churchyard for a service of remembrance.

Upon arrival at Daylesford Church, pupils and staff gathered around Charles Baring Young's graveside for a speech from Headmaster, Mr Seward and a service led by Revd Savage.

Heads of School, Hetty and Tor, laid a wreath on behalf of the school, which was followed by a reditition of the Founder's Hymn and The Lord is my Shepherd, accompanied by the School's Brass Band.

It was moving to be able to remember the brilliant legacy left by Charles Baring Young and what he has given countless people in the Kingham Hill School, Havelock Farm, Latimer House and Oakhill College community.
