Pupils blast through Science competition

Kingham Hill School GCSE and A level scientists put on a superb performance in the recent Oxford Regional Heat of the UK Space
Design Competition to emerge as winners.

Working with Dulwich College as team Dougeldyne Astrosystems the pupils were tasked with designing and engineering a settlement
to house 300 people in lava tubes on the surface of the moon.

After working together and finalising their design the team then carried out a 20 minute presentation on their settlement to the judging panel.

Following their victory the pupils will now move on to the national final hosted at Imperial College London in March.
