The sunshine made a welcome return to Kingham Hill School as we held our 2019 Sports Day. The day saw a number of spectators joining us as our pupils struck gold (silver and bronze) as pupils took to Cooper and Scarfe pitch for a day of track and field events.
The morning session saw athletes take to the track and show their best field work in the shot put, long jump, javelin, discus and high jump rotations.
Following a break for lunch the sprint distances took with spotlight with 400m, 300m, 200m, 100m for junior, intermediate and senior pupils, with impressive performances from all our pupils.
The school was thrilled by the parental support on the day. It made for such a positive family environment, one in which our pupils thrived. This year saw the best standard of performance with the junior pupils demonstrating their effective and well practiced techniques with great success.
