This week, pupils were recognised in the Head’s Assembly for their outstanding contributions to Hockey and Rugby during the term.
School colours are awarded as a mark of excellence and service in the school’s flagship activities, including Sport, Music and Drama. They recognise pupils who demonstrate commitment, leadership and sustained involvement at the highest level within the school community.
Half colours are typically awarded to pupils who have shown consistent dedication and regular commitment to an activity over time. Pupils receiving half colours are presented with a bar badge, which they wear on their uniform, displaying the activity for which the award has been made.
Full colours are awarded to a very small number of pupils who have made exceptional, high-level contributions and demonstrated outstanding achievement and influence within their chosen discipline.
The recognition of pupils for Hockey and Rugby reflects not only their sporting ability, but also the values of teamwork, perseverance and commitment that sport fosters at Kingham Hill. Congratulations to all those who were recognised!
