This Autumn half-term, the Senior Hockey Team embarked on a tour of the coastal capital, Lisbon. The week-long excursion saw the team train with the Portuguese National Men’s Hockey Coach, and share the pitch with an Argentine Olympian, before putting their new skills into action over three demanding fixtures.
“The three fixtures throughout the tour were tough, intense, but most importantly enjoyable.” said Mrs Juckes. “Playing against some quality opposition, the girls rose to the challenge and did themselves proud. Some great teamwork and superb goals were scored.”
In their downtime, the girls enjoyed a tree top adventure, catching some surf, playing volleyball, and getting creative with TikTok. “The girls were a credit to themselves, their families and the school. It really was a tour that will last long in the memories.” commented Mr Martin, Head of Wellbeing.
