Congratulations to our Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award participants, who recently completed their qualifying expedition in the Peak District.
Over three days, pupils navigated a challenging route from Hope through Edale and across the Hope Valley, finishing in Hathersage. Carrying everything they needed for the expedition, the groups demonstrated excellent teamwork and self-reliance as they planned routes, managed camp life and prepared their own meals.
The expedition marked the culmination of months of preparation and provided pupils with the opportunity to put their outdoor skills into practice in a spectacular landscape.
