Sixth Form Dinner Welcomes Chair of Rafiki Thabo Foundation

Pupils and staff gathered on Thursday 5th March for one of the school’s regular Sixth Form Dinners, combining community and charitable insight.

The evening welcomed special guest Jon Uglow, Chair of the Rafiki Thabo Foundation, who spoke about the work of the school’s Charity of the Year. His talk offered pupils a meaningful perspective on the Foundation’s mission and the impact of its work, reinforcing the importance of service and global awareness within the Kingham Hill community.

A highlight of the evening, as always, was the food. The school’s catering team, led by Mr Krezelewski prepared an impressive range of dishes. The event also provided an opportunity to celebrate pupils' aspirations beyond the classroom. During the evening, Mr Krezelewski was seen sharing professional tips with Jack, a pupil with ambitions of pursuing a career in catering.

Sixth Form Dinners remain a central part of life at Kingham Hill, designed to bring pupils together in a relaxed and sociable setting while strengthening year-group bonds. As part of the wider Dean Close Foundation, the school continues to use occasions like these to foster a strong sense of community, while connecting pupils with real-world experiences and inspiring future pathways.
