It was fantastic to see so many pupils gather at break time on Monday 14th October for the launch of The Hub! This Sixth Form–led initiative provides a welcoming space where pupils can enjoy good company, play games, and seek advice from older peers.
Following a warm introduction, pupils broke into groups for a range of activities led by Sixth Formers, our favourite Werewolf, a game of bluffing, strategy, and social intuition that had everyone engaged and laughing.
Mr Martin, Head of Wellbeing, praised the initiative, saying: “Seeing Sixth Formers volunteering their time, getting stuck in to support the school community is so great to see. The launch of The Hub this week was superb and falls into our ethos of serving well and serving others.”
The Hub will now be open every break time in the Equipped to Flourish classroom, where a team of Sixth Formers will be available to listen, chat, and offer support.
