There was great excitement on Friday as we held our annual Sports Day. On what was a gloriously sunny day there was plenty of House Spirit on show as pupils from across the year groups took part in a number of events to earn points for their Houses.
Throughout the day pupils took to the track and field to compete in a variety of events including long jump, shot putt, high jump, javelin and a range of sprint, middle distance and relay races.
This year’s results were as follows:
- Overall Junior House Winner - Team Phillips (Girls, Greenwich House)
- Overall Inters House Winner – Latimer (Girls)
- Overall Senior House Winner – Havelock (Boys)
This year’s Victor and Victrix Ludorum titles, which are awarded to the pupil who gains the most points in individual events for their age category, went to:
Junior Category

- Victrix Ludorum – Ruby C (2nd Form)
Inters Category
- Victor Ludorum - Rufus B (3rd Form)
- Victrix Ludorum – Maud A (3rd Form)
Senior Category
- Victor Ludorum – Herbie B (5th Form)
- Victrix Ludorum – Bella W (Lower Sixth)
All in all it was a fantastic day that brought the whole school community together. Everyone participated with impressive enthusiasm and it was a fabulous way to end the sporting year here on the Hill.
