Duke of Edinburgh Award

At Kingham Hill we give every pupil the opportunity to complete their Duke of Edinburgh Silver and Gold Awards, in the 4th Form and Lower Sixth.

Through completing a DofE programme young people have fun, make friends, improve their self-esteem and build confidence. They gain essential skills and attributes for work and life such as resilience, problem-solving, team-working, communication and drive, enhancing CVs and uni and job applications.

Assuming participants have not conducted their Bronze Award elsewhere, the Silver Award takes 12 months to achieve, and the Gold, a further 12 months.
