The new library was officially opened by Baroness Cox on Saturday 2 July 2016. Three times the size of the old library and split over two levels, the new space comprises five inviting zones for quiet reading, private work and group study.

The library is a mix of old and new, with original features, such as rafters and light fittings restored to their former glory whilst showcasing the latest technology. The new library has quickly become the academic heart of the School with pupils making the most of the wonderful facilities.

With inspirational views overlooking Bliss Mill and the rolling Cotswold countryside beyond, it is easy to see why it is a favourite place to spend free time too, whether curling up with a good book in one of the cosy reading areas or taking part in a breaktime chess tournament: there is always something going on.
